CCS INDUSTRIALS is a distribution company selling components such as fasteners, power tools, cutting tools, safety equipment and much more. We currently have branches in Oshawa, which is also our head office, Belleville, Cobourg and Peterborough, Ontario. In September of 2011, we opened the doors of our first branch outside of Ontario, in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Wayne Carr, Al Cordy, and Bill Sumersford purchased the Mill Supply division of Oshawa Bearing on September 1, 1976 and CCS INDUSTRIALS was born. In February of 1977, CCS was moved from its original address of 92 Wolfe St., Oshawa to 150 Wentworth St. E, Oshawa where it remains today. A second branch was opened in August 1995, in Belleville, Ontario. A few years later, Al Cordy retired, selling his shares to the remaining owners, who continued running the company with the same ideals as in 1976. On January 2, 2000, CCS split the Belleville branch customers and started a third branch in Cobourg, Ontario to better service the area. Later that year, Wayne Carr decided to retire, making Bill Sumersford the sole owner, until shares were sold to Brad Carr in March of 2002. After nearly four years of restructuring and growth, the partners decided it was time to expand once again and purchased a fourth branch from Dent Industrial in Lindsay, Ontario in 2006. Since then, the Lindsay branch has been relocated to Peterborough, and the other three locations have expanded their inventories and showrooms in order to meet the customer’s demands. Brad Carr purchased Bill’s share of CCS in 2010 and continues to run it as a sole proprietorship.
